FOOD PROVIDERS/SERVICES
- Gig Harbor Peninsula FISH: Gig Harbor Peninsula FISH is not closed and will be open their normal hours, however, to promote social distancing and reduce exposure risk, volunteers are pre-packing bags for community members to pick up. As always, folks will receive perishable and non-perishable foods, as well as other grocery items as available.
- FISH is in need of volunteers as many of the foodbanks regular volunteers need to self-isolate. Click here to help FISH. New volunteers can fill out an application form when they arrive.
- Community members can help replenish the shelves by donating cash, non-perishables and toiletries. See the website for a donation link, address, hours and most needed items.

- Emergency Food Network: Check Emergency Food Network's website for continual updates on various local food banks
- Food Backpacks 4 Kids
- Food Backpacks 4 Kids is continually working to support their families, as well as additional families in this uncertain time. Backpacks are available for pickup every Saturday at the following locations: Henderson Bay High School, Evergreen Elementary School and Gateway Park parking lot. If you are not already registered with the program email info@foodbackpacks4kids.org with your name, number of children and most convenient pickup location.
- Meals on Wheels: As a Seniors 60+ you may be eligible to receive meals at home. For new clients there is maybe a 2 week delay. To sign up call CCS at Gay Bitz: 253.474.1200
- Catholic Community Services: Effective March 23, CCS is offering pick up 'n go lunches to seniors 60+ years, every Monday and Wednesday at Peninsula Lutheran Church, 11:45 AM - 12:15 PM. For new participants, call Ginger at CCS (253.474.1200) by 12:00 PM by Wednesday for lunch(es) to be picked up the following week. New participants will be required to complete paperwork at the time of their first pick-up. $3.50 suggested donation for 60+ year old seniors
