2019 Community Spirit Grants

In celebration of community, the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation will award five Community Spirit Grants for projects that impact our greater peninsula community. There is unity in community. We hope you will join us!

Proposals must fall into one or more of the Foundation’s five focus areas – arts and culture, education, parks and environment, recreation and social capital – demonstrate community value, and address how a spirt grant will help your group or organization show how you love where you live.

Eligibility: Organizations within the geographic region served by the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation, which includes the Gig Harbor and Key peninsulas, and Fox and Raft Islands may apply for one of five $500 spirit micro-grants. Each of the five GGHF Core Area Boards will review applications based on focus area. Recommendations for funding will be submitted to the Foundation’s Board of Directors for approval. Awards will be made at the Foundation’s annual volunteer appreciation event in early December 2019.
