terry-lee-83720 212x213Terry Lee is a current GGHF board member and has lived in the North Rosedale area of Gig Harbor for 40 years. He and his wife Donna have two adult children and two granddaughters. Terry has served the community in the following ways over the last 29 years:

  • Terry was appointed Executive Director of the Peninsula Metropolitan Park District by the Board in November 2010. Prior to appointment, Terry served as Pierce County Council Member for 8 years. He has also served in the following capacities:
  • Peninsula Advisory Commission—8 years (4 years as chair)
  • Pierce County Planning Commission—10 years (7 years as chair)
  • Pierce County Council, Community Development Committee—8 years (2 years as chair)
  • Pierce Transit Board of Commissioners—8 years (1 year as chair)Zoo/Trek Authority Board of Commissioners—8 years (8 years as chair)
  • Tacoma-Pierce County Board of Health—8 years
  • Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors—3 years
  • Puget Sound Regional Council Transportation Policy Board—4 years
  • Puget Sound Regional Council Executive Board—4 years
  • Pierce County Regional Council—2 years

Terry received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Zoology from Central Washington University and completed postgraduate studies in Nuclear Physics and Radiology.
