THE BENEFIT

The Cider Swig returns to Gig Harbor on National Public Lands Day 2017.

Nearly two dozen regional cidermakers will present a range of 80+ hard ciders to the growing community of cider lovers and the cider-curious alike traveling from near and far to join in a day of sampling the best ciders west of the Mississippi!

The Cider Swig Stage will be ALIVE all day with great bands like Gypsy-groove from Budapest West; sizzling twin fiddles by Spare Thyme; Creole la-la and Zydeco music by the "God Father of Fun" Richard Allen and Charlie "The Noiseguy" Williams (additional info).

Talk about great eats! Come see what Taylor's Shellfish Farms has on the grill, sink your teeth into some Smokin Zee's ribs, or bring on the heat with amazing Asian-fusion from Spicy Papaya – other “curbside cuisine” including gourmet sausages and sandwiches will be on hand to savor with your cider!

From the Apple Launch Competition, to the Kids Apple Zone…and more, a great day is in store for the entire family.

The Cider Swig again combines eco-awareness and our commitment to community. Proceeds raised go to support the Lu Winsor Memorial Environmental grants program, which provides annual grants to area schools, organizations and agencies within the greater KGI watershed for projects focused on water quality, environmental education, watershed enhancement and restoration activities, parks, trails and agricultural lands.

The CIDER SWIG is a proud member of the Northwest Cider Association!      NWCAlogo
