I grew up in Connecticut and moved to California to attend UCLA, where I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
After spending the bulk of our careers in large internet corporations in Los Angeles, my husband and I moved to Washington looking for a slower pace and a different environment to raise our family. We moved to Gig Harbor in 2013 and absolutely love it! We can’t get over how beautiful it is and adore being surrounded by water and nature.
Our children were very young and I became a stay at home mom, but wanted to give back to the community that I’d grown to love. Looking for ways to become more involved, I joined the Advisory Board for GGHF Curious by Nature School in 2014 when my son was in the Toddler class. Once my son moved on to Kindergarten and my daughter was ready to start preschool, I wanted to do more and was excited to hear about a position opening at Greater Gig Harbor Foundation.
I am thrilled to now be a part of the staff of Greater Gig Harbor Foundation and all the wonderful ways they give back to the community.
