Shoshona has been in love with the Pacific Northwest since her family went on a road trip through Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia when she was five years old. Many road trips later, she is still exploring the Pacific Northwest, both in her adopted hometown of Tacoma and elsewhere, now with her husband and daughter by her side.
Shoshona has a Batchelor's degree in Ethnic Studies with post Baccalaureate work in Library and Information Science. She enjoys researching and exploring the local geology and avian communities, as well as creating artist's books, and metal smithing. Oh, and rain. She loves the rain! Shoshona is happy to have her daughter enrolled in a preschool where outdoor education is foremost, rain or shine.
