JoAnna is new to Gig Harbor. She and her husband had been residing in Cle Elum where their business, Pioneer Coffee Roasting Company’s roastery is located. Growing up in North Bend, JoAnna knows what rain is. Oh and wind, she can thank Ellensburg, Central Washington University, for that one. While attending college for a business degree with a minor in psychology, JoAnna met her husband, Chris and fell in love with him – and the coffee business.
Meghan grew up in a small town outside of Anchorage, Alaska. She attended college in Arizona before making the Puget Sound area her home.
Since 2013, Odette has served as GGHF Curious by Nature School's Director. She provides oversight for the school's day-to-day operations. Her background in environmental and science education, early childhood education, and a profession in development.
Lindsey lives in Gig Harbor with her husband, Dave, and their two children; Hunter (3) and Nora (1). Looking for a better place to raise their family, they relocated from Los Angeles to Gig Harbor two years ago and fell in love.
Julie is a founder and principal at Resource Dimensions a woman-owned Gig Harbor-based economics, community economic development and resource planning firm specializing in land use, conservation, natural and social capital, and sustainability planning. She has taught, developed, analyzed, directed, and advised on programs, laws, policies, and funds that span the human interface between the natural and built environment.
Shoshona has been in love with the Pacific Northwest since her family went on a road trip through Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia when she was five years old. Many road trips later, she is still exploring the Pacific Northwest, both in her adopted hometown of Tacoma and elsewhere, now with her husband and daughter by her side.
Ken has lived in the Puget Sound region since 1986, when his father was stationed to Fort Lewis.
In recent years, he has committed time to various community projects and volunteering with groups such as the local Cheney Family Branch Boys and Girls Club. Ken believes that GGHF Curious by Nature School is a great place for children from our community to learn and develop strong connections with the natural world; he is excited to help in activities as the School grows.
