Ken has lived in the Puget Sound region since 1986, when his father was stationed to Fort Lewis.
In recent years, he has committed time to various community projects and volunteering with groups such as the local Cheney Family Branch Boys and Girls Club. Ken originally joined the organization in 2012 to help develop the fiscal foundation for GGHF Curious by Nature School. He believed that the school provided a great place for children from our community to learn and develop strong connections with the natural world; and was excited to help the School grow. In 2014, Ken joined the Foundation's Board of Directors where he served as an at large member until 2015 when he was elected to the Treasurer's post.
Professionally, Ken specializes in compliance and accounting of non-profit clients. The organizations he works are focused on on family support, education, and community well-being.
Ken is involved with the Tacoma Chamber of Commerce and the Boys and Girls Club. He’s a member of the American Institute of C.P.A.s and Washington Society of C.P.A.s. He is a big fan of soccer, enjoys running, and is a graduate of the University of Washington.
